What is Disciple Bible Study?  Disciple Bible Study is for those who are "hungry" for the Word of God, for fellowship in prayer and study and for a sense of appropriate ministry as baptized, believing committed Christians.   The purpose of Disciple Study is to develop strong Christian faith through regular in-depth study of the scriptures.

Quotes from Disciple Students:

"It is hard to put into words exactly what the Disciple Bible Study has meant to my life.  Disciple has taught me discipline, the importance of commitment and the value of relationships.  One of the blessings that I treasure from Disciple is the friendships that have been formed among the individuals in the group.  It has been amazing to see the growth of each person and how willing they are to step forward and accept new challenges in their lives."

Disciple I - Singles / Couples

This is a 34-week bible Study, which includes 17 weeks of old Testament and 17 weeks of New Testament.  Participants gather once a week and do daily Bible reading on their own.  This study has been a tremendous blessing to many.

Disciple II - Into the Word: Into the World

This is the second study in Disciple.  It encourages persons to open themselves to hearing what God has to say to them through the Bible and to be guided into their particular ministry in the world by scripture and their study of it.  This is a 32-week program that pays equal attention to New Testament and Old testament.  It concentrates on four books: Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts.

Disciple III - Remember Who You Are

The third class of the Disciple series lasts 32 weeks.  The Old Testament lessons review the writings of the prophets.  The New Testament lessons focus on the letters of Paul.

"Attending a Bible Study has always been a part of my life.  Disciple Bible Study has been the greatest commitment, also the most fulfilling.  To attend Disciple is to grow closer to God through prayer and fellowship with other believers."

"I pray that the knowledge I received from this class may help someone else come to the Lord.  I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and I know God answers prayers for I have seen it happen in this class.  I thank the church very much for the opportunity and I hope to attend this year's class."

Disciple IV - Under the Tree of Life

The fourth phase of Disciple concentrates on the writings in the Old Testament - Ruth, Chronicles I and II, Ezra, Nehemiah, Ester, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations and Daniel.  New Testament scriptures include Gospel of John, John I, II, III, James, Jude and Revelations.  This final phase in a four-phase Disciple Bible Study has the feeling of living toward fulfillment or completion.

Christian Believer

Believer focuses on the teaching of the Christian faith and its ties to scripture.  Christian Believers want to know the consequences in the church teaching and how to make a difference in their lives, what it means to be a Christian and where we as Christians stand.  This study aims at presenting, explaining, and interpreting Christian doctrine.  This Bible Study will be held twice, on the same day, at different times.  That way, those on "swing shift" will, hopefully, be able to make one or the other.
