The Missions Committee and the Elder Care Committee have decided to join forces
to form a stronger team. We will strive to continue to help those in need as
well as to visit and minister to the shut-ins and elderly of the Barnitz
Family.
The Missions Committee would like to give everyone an update on Eugene Negzem and his family. We helped sponsor Eugene and his family through the Allison UMC. Eugene and his family have moved to Kentucky where he has found a teaching position at Murry Station University. The next Missions / Elder Care Committee meeting will be held on Sunday, October 12th following the 10:30 AM Worship Service. We invite anyone who may be interested in joining the committee, or who may have questions, to attend this meeting. Please keep in mind, if you know anyone who may need financial help or may be a shut-in who whould appreciate a visit, please let someone on the Committee or Pastor John know so we may reach out to them.
